Accounts Payable Specialist

Summary
The A/P Specialist supports the team by processing payments, verifying invoices and performing account reconciliations to ensure the organization's expenditures are accurate.
Job Responsibilities
Accurately record and issue payment for all invoices and expense reports, in an organized and timely manner.
Resolve all payables related issues.
Work collaboratively with all internal cross functional teams to process invoices.
Create new vendor accounts.
Assist in month end closing process.
Provide support for internal and external audits as necessary.
Help prepare annual 1099 Forms.
Identify and contribute to improve AP process and controls.
Provide support for projects and perform additional duties as needed to support the organization.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1- 2 years of accounts payable experience.
Experience in a multi-site environment and/or healthcare organization preferred.
