We are seeking a Payroll Clerk, to be located at our offices in Napa, to support our growing organization and ensure smooth, accurate payroll processing for our dedicated employees.
Your Role
As a Payroll Clerk, you will provide support to the payroll team to ensure all aspects of the weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles are completed accurately and within compliance.Your responsibilities will include:
Supports the overall process of the weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles with defined responsibilities for data management, processing, and auditing.
Works closely with Human Resources in reviewing the information entered in the HRIS system by the Human Resources Representative.
Reviews all time records to ensure they accurately reflect time worked.
Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all payroll tax filings and other required payroll forms; Ensure the accuracy in all employee deductions with proper supporting documentation.
Prepare and review payroll-related reports as directed; ensures the accuracy of the information.
Prepare manual checks for departing employees or errors.
Maintain confidentiality
Who You Are
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with:
Experience in payroll processing, ideally in hospitality or a fast-paced, multi-location environment
Familiarity with payroll software and HRIS platforms, preferably ADP TotalSource
A strong grasp of federal and state payroll laws and compliance standards
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with discretion
