We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team at Ewald's Hartford Ford dealership. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial operations while supporting our dealership's vendors, internal departments, and management team. Key Responsibilities: Process and post vendor invoices accurately and timely Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Manage accounts payable schedules and ensure timely payments Prepare worksheets for Payables payment processing Maintain organized AP records and documentation Work closely with the accounting and management teams to ensure proper expense allocation Assist with other accounting duties as assigned Ensure compliance with dealership policies and accounting procedures Bill out Fleet Qualifications: 1 year previous Accounts Payable experience required (automotive dealership experience preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle high-volume invoice processing Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Stable, long-term employment with a reputable dealership Supportive team environment and opportunity for growth If you are reliable, detail-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment, we'd love to hear from you.
