Job Description


AKRS is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic HR team in our Lincoln, NE office. As a Compensation Analyst, you will collaborate closely with others in HR, Finance, and AKRS Leadership to research, analyze, develop, and administer the organization's compensation programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in developing, implementing, and administering the organization's compensation strategy, including salary structures and compensation policies.
  • Reviews and revises compensation programs to maintain market competitiveness and legal compliance.
  • Assist in designing and evaluating compensation programs, including base pay, incentive plans, bonuses, and other rewards.
  • Compiles and analyzes data for monthly incentive/bonus and annual bonus programs.
  • Conducts job evaluations to determine job classifications, salary ranges, and internal equity.
  • Analyzes job duties and responsibilities to ensure accurate compensation alignment.
  • Completes salary surveys and benchmarks compensation against competitors and the broader labor market.
  • Ensure compensation practices comply with relevant federal and state laws and organizational policies.
  • Monitors changes in compensation-related regulations and update policies as needed.
  • Partner with others in HR, Finance, and leaders to understand workforce needs and guide compensation recommendations.
  • Communicate compensation policies and findings to managers and employees when needed.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in compensation analysis, data analytics, job evaluation, or related HR functions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
  • Knowledge of federal and state compensation laws and HR best practices.
  • Additional skills: Analytical and quantitative reasoning, attention to detail, strong communication and presentation skills, business and financial acumen, ability to manage confidential information, ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners
