Accountant

Accountant - Direct Hire Location: Monroe, LA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: $60,000+ based on experience Key Responsibilities Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns Review financial records, income statements, and expenses Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations Assist with tax planning and projections for clients Respond to client inquiries and provide professional guidance Maintain accurate documentation and work papers Support senior accountants and partners as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required 1+ years of tax or public accounting experience preferred Strong knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles Proficiency in accounting and tax software Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and client service abilities Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Professional development opportunities Supportive team environment Potential for advancement within the firm **APPLY TODAY** Accounting degree
