We are looking for a Part Time Bookkeeper to aid the COO and Comptroller with accounting and bookkeeping related tasks, including corporate accounting for a privately owned franchise company and bookkeeping for clients. Strong familiarity with computers and software is ideal. Attention to detail and ability to work well with others is a must.
Responsibilities
- Help manage accounting operations including, A/R, A/P, GL
- Help the comptroller prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Research accounting issues
- Carry out month-end and year-end close process
- Data entry into Quickbooks Online
- Weekly client meetings
- Client Quickbook file management
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Research accounting issues
- Additional bookkeeper duties as necessary
- Bill Paying
- Peachtree/Sage experience is a plus
- Quickbooks experience is a must
- Thursdays are a must
- Other days to be determined
- Williamsburg Virginia
Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Physical setting:
