Executive Director of Treasury

We are seeking an Executive Director of Treasury to lead all aspects of treasury operations with a primary focus on fund cash management, fund treasury, and fund finance across evergreen funds and private market investments. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep expertise in private, alternative, and secondary investment structures, along with the strategic vision to optimize liquidity, manage risk, and support long-term firm growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee fund-level cash management, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and capital allocation for evergreen and private market vehicles

  • Lead fund treasury operations, managing global banking relationships, fund financing structures, and foreign exchange strategies

  • Direct fund finance activities, including debt facilities, capital calls, and investor distributions to ensure operational excellence and accuracy

  • Provide strategic oversight of treasury functions supporting private, alternative, and secondary investments

  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks addressing financial, operational, and market risks

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing treasury team, fostering collaboration and professional development

  • Partner closely with investment, legal, tax, and compliance teams to align treasury operations with firm-wide objectives

  • Drive process innovation and automation, leveraging treasury technology to enhance controls, reporting, and scalability

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred

  • 10+ years of treasury, fund finance, or related experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role

  • Demonstrated expertise in fund cash management, fund treasury, and fund finance within private markets

  • Strong understanding of private equity, alternative, and secondary investment structures

  • Experience supporting evergreen funds or similar open-ended vehicles is highly desirable

  • Deep knowledge of financial instruments, banking operations, and liquidity management

  • Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a strategic mindset

  • Proficiency with treasury management systems and financial modeling tools
