Job Description
Location: Negotiable (Remote)
The Payroll Testing Lead will be responsible for developing comprehensive test strategy, planning and executing the testing plan, deploying and managing test teams for implementation activity for all company Ventures and Acquisitions (V&A) projects. They oversee and maintain the detailed test plan that outlines the test objectives, scope, schedule, deliverables, environment management, and resource allocation for payroll implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating with project managers and stakeholders to define the scope of testing with each project, leading test team, analyzing test results and presenting test dashboards to Program Manager and Senior Manager.
Creating and executing test plans and ensuring all application functionality is fully tested.
Motivating and providing support, troubleshooting, and guidance to testers.
Qualification
What You Need
- Minimum of 5 years' Testing Technical experience - preferably in a large multi-business company Payroll, Finance, Tax, Accounting Min. 5 years payroll processing experience
- Minimum of 3 years' Payroll Data
- Minimum of 3 years' Payroll processing experience
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint

- Experience using Dayforce / Ceridian
- Experience with leading test phases, including test planning, creating test scenarios, executing testing, documenting defects, reporting testing metrics
- Strong understanding of development life cycle and testing methodologies
- Advanced project management and organizational abilities with strong attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams over multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to lead and facilitate workshops and sessions
- Ability to communicate critical activities and deliver solutions aligned with team capacity
- Ability to translate business processes into functional and technical requirements
- In-depth understanding of Dayforce Integrations includes Core HR and Data, Workforce Management, Payroll
- Solid understanding of end-to-end Payroll process, calculation, and services
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Experience with leading test phases, including test planning, creating test scenarios, executing testing, documenting defects, reporting testing metrics.
- Strong understanding of development life cycle and testing methodologies
- Ability to lead and facilitate workshops and sessions
- In-depth understanding of Dayforce Integrations includes Core HR and Data, Workforce Management, Payroll
- Solid understanding of end-to-end Payroll process, calculation, and services
