The Impact You Will Make
In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our payroll operations. You will ensure every Clemens team member is paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with payroll regulations and supporting benefits and retirement plan administration. Your accuracy and attention to detail will directly impact employee trust, financial compliance, and operational efficiency.
What You Will Do
Payroll
- Process weekly payroll for all employees with precision and timeliness.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, tax withholdings, and deductions.
- Administer 401(k) changes, loan setups, repayments, and weekly file uploads.
- Process garnishments, respond to government agencies, and fulfill subpoenas.
- Manage benefit arrears repayments and HSA administration.
- Submit weekly payroll GL files to Accounting for reconciliation.
Accounts Payable
- Assist with invoice coding, vendor setup and updates, and statement reconciliations.
- Respond to vendor payment inquiries and maintain AP documentation.
What We Are Looking For
Must Have
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience and knowledge of payroll regulations.
- Familiarity with payroll or timekeeping systems (UKG, ADP, Paycom, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Office tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Nice to Have
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- AP processing experience and ERP system familiarity (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Experience with benefits and retirement plan administration.
