Controller – Aerospace Manufacturing

Location: Greater Columbus, MS
Salary: $95K–$120K (DOE) | Full-time, Exempt

Our aerospace client is a fast-growing, high-momentum manufacturer serving the defense sector. They design and build custom aerospace and defense technologies for mission-critical projects and are looking for a Controller who can lead finance in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and all accounting operations.

• Oversee month-end/year-end close and ensure GAAP, FAR, and CAS compliance.

• Provide cost accounting and pricing expertise for government projects.

• Partner with operations, engineering, and procurement to align financial goals with project outcomes.

• Manage cash flow, financial risk, and internal controls.

• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.

What We’re Looking For:

• CPA with 10+ years in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing finance.

• Proven experience in cost accounting and government contract pricing.

• Background in custom manufacturing environments.

• Comfortable on the manufacturing floor, at the computer, or in the boardroom.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

• MBA and SAP/ERP experience a plus.
