This role will begin January 26, 2026 and conclude April 10, 2026.

The Seasonal Tax Preparer should expect to:

• Prepare individual and business tax returns
• Communicate regularly with other tax preparers to identify and solve problems
• Complete other basic accounting or miscellaneous related tasks
• Uphold strict confidentiality protocols regarding all client information

What you’ll need for this position:

• At least one tax season preparing individual or business tax returns
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work in a deadline driven environment
• Critical thinking and the ability to modify procedures or resources to fit the needs of the task or situation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn multiple software programs

Bonus:

• CCH Software experience

Compensation: In some states and municipalities, Pinion is required by law to include a reasonable estimate for range of compensation. When making compensation decisions, Pinion takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20-30/hour.
