Job Description
Purpose:
Provides highly complex payroll accounting services. Collaborates with representatives and coordinates pay calculations for TAMU College of Engineering, Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service and the Texas A&M Transportation Institute.
Responsibilities:
Reviews and research information and transactions to detect and resolve payroll discrepancies. Assists employees with complex questions.
Audits multiple payroll reports before payroll is processed to ensure accuracy and completeness and assists in submitting monthly and bi-weekly payrolls.
Review supplemental payments, one-time payments and emoluments for accuracy and compliance then entering them as payroll inputs or on-demand payments.
Review and process retro payroll reports and research any discrepancies.
Assists Banking in the unclaimed property process to reprint payroll checks.
Processing bank ACH rejections and emergency payments.
Review and approve Workday cost allocations and payroll cost transfers in Canopy.
Creating payroll vouchers in FAMIS for bank ACH rejections and emergency payments.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
What we need:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Two years of related experience.
Work Location:
Main Campus - College Station, TX.
