Accounting Manager

Summary: As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the daily primary accounting tasks of the Brand including General Ledger activities, Journal Entries and Reconciliations.

You will directly manage AP and AR staff and oversee Customer Experience Agents in the collections process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable functions through leadership of team.
• Provide adequate, ongoing training to ensure success
• Communicate clearly and often with your team to establish expectations and create awareness of progress to goals
• Build processes and policies to ensure compliance, improve efficiency, and limit risk.
• Oversee Market Specialist team in their Collections efforts, improving payables and account aging.
• Perform daily accounting functions, including cash reconciliation, invoicing, job costing, commissions processing, and more.
• Support Finance stakeholders in Period Close process
• Assist with the management enforcement of accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper internal control procedures are in place and operating effectively for financial statement close activities.
• Support financial and tax compliance audits where necessary.
• Other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of related accounting experience.
• Minimum 3 or more years of team/staff leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, general ledger accounting and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP and consolidation/reporting systems.
• Ability to multi-task and quickly prioritize to manage conflicting deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization and external partners.
• High comfort level working in Microsoft Excel.
• Direct experience with Acumatica preferred but not required.
