Senior Tax Analyst

• Prepare detailed work papers and supporting documentation for IRS Form 990 and Form 990-T filings.

• Conduct community benefit calculations to ensure compliance with tax-exempt regulations.

• Assist in the preparation of tax provisions related to exempt organizations.

• Manage and execute annual extension payments and quarterly estimated tax payments for the exempt side of the tax department.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely filings and compliance with IRS requirements.

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar, required. Graduate Degree in Business, Accounting or Similar preferred.
• Experience: Three years Corporate or Public Tax Compliance, required.
• Licensure/Certification: CPA license (or eligible), preferred.
• Additional Skills (required):
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Intermediate in Microsoft Excel functionality.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and professional writing skills.
  • Ability to apply logical and critical thinking in analyzing transactions, addressing requests and participating in special projects.
  • Ability to concurrently organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Availability for seasonal and variable work; hours can vary and may include evenings and weekends (at times) in addition to regular schedule.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Experience with corporate ERP systems (e.g., Infor, Oracle, Workday)
