Assistant Controller – CPA with Tax Focus – Florida (Hybrid/Remote)

A respected, multi-entity organization in Florida is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their leadership team. This is ideal for a Senior Accountant from public accounting ready to move into a broader leadership track.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Controller, you’ll handle corporate and personal tax returns while expanding into GAAP-based accounting operations. The role blends hands-on tax expertise with exposure to financial statement review, compliance, and budgeting across multiple entities. CPA is required (or at least 2–3 sections passed).

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and coordinate corporate & personal returns.

• Maintain compliance across multiple entities.

• Perform analytical reviews of financial statements and ensure GAAP adherence.

• Contribute to budget preparation and other ad-hoc projects.

• $115K–$130K base salary (flexible for the right fit).

• Hybrid schedule (3 in / 2 remote), with remote possible for exceptional candidates.
