The Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle - Airport\/28th Ave is looking for a strong, results driven candidate that can cultivate an exceptional experience for guests as well as the hotel associates. \n

The right fit for this position will be a team player and have a high level of professionalism when working with the Operations and regional Sales teams to support the hotel's goals. \n

The Director of Operations will: \n

\n

  • Coordinate, direct, and manage day to day hotel and restaurant operations \n
  • Motivate associates to exceed expectations of the guests; passionately uphold and elevate a positive work environment for all associates \n
  • Support and communicate company goals and initiatives, promote company programs and act as an ambassador of the company \n
  • Hire qualified associates, assemble skilled and cohesive teams, manage individual and team performance, provide developmental opportunities, and promote teamwork and cooperation \n
  • Maintain regular attendance and be consistently on time \n
  • Able to meet all deadlines in regards to Brand and company standards \n
  • Provide a safe working environment \n
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code \n \n

Job Requirements: \n

\n

  • Hotel Management experience is required \n
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, organization, planning and attention to detail \n
  • Sound analytical and problem solving abilities \n
  • Ability to maximize revenues and control expenses to meet financial objectives \n
  • Perform hands-on duties as needed to deliver guest services \n
  • Lead by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm \n
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, professional, caring behavior towards both guests and team members \n
  • Must ensure the success of the hotel, through guest and associate satisfaction, is met \n
  • Must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays \n
  • Must be able to travel by plane at least once per year to meet the Brand training requirements \n \n
