  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Knowledge of the operation of commercial dish machine.
  • Ability to stand for long periods where wet processes are used.
  • Ability to work in congested work areas.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to wear protective footwear.
Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required :

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma.
Additional Consideration(s):

Experience:

  • Experience working in the food service industry with dish washer responsibilities.
  • Experience in the operation of a commercial dish machine.
  • Experience with workplace safety procedures.
  • Experience with sanitation procedures.

Starting at $15.00 per hour, Commensurate with Education and Experience

Conditions of Employment:
  • This is an HOURLY position and does NOT entitle the incumbent to Commonwealth of Virginia benefits and is limited to 1500 hours in a 365-day period.
  • Selected candidate will be required to attend a 2-Day New Employee Orientation Program.
  • Ability to stand for long periods where wet processes are used.
  • Ability to work in congested work areas.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to wear protective footwear.
