Stainless Steel Polisher Job Description We are seeking experienced polishers skilled in stainless steel polishing and buffing. This role involves using hand and power tools to achieve food and pharmaceutical grade finishes. A keen eye for detail and the ability to visually identify defects are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Perform grinding, polishing, and buffing of stainless steel parts to meet stringent pharmaceutical industry standards, working with materials that have unusual recesses, radii, and contours. Operate and maintain polishing tools and equipment, ensuring both safety and precision at all times. Select appropriate methods, dressing, and abrasives for each task. Work in accordance with detailed drawings and instructions. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Lift and carry parts of various sizes, shapes, and weights up to 50 lbs. Essential Skills Proficiency in metal finishing and polishing. Experience with grinding, hand tools, and power tools. Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate polishing equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in electropolishing or electroplating is highly preferred. Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is for the second shift, with hours from 2:00pm to 11:00pm. Work in a temperature-controlled environment with a supportive and flexible team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Beloit, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
