Were looking for a detail-oriented and experienced **Accountant** to join a high-performing finance team supporting plant operations. In this role, youll be responsible for hands-on accounting work, financial data analysis, and collaboration with the on-site plant accountant. Youll play a key role in maintaining accurate reporting, managing accounts payable workflows, and supporting both weekly and month-end close deadlines. This is a fully remote role, but candidates must be able to work Eastern Time hours.

+ Pull and manipulate financial data from Oracle and Discoverer reports in Excel

+ Enter and validate journal entries in Oracle

+ Manage the Accounts Payable email inbox and route non-PO invoices for plant-level approval

+ Perform cost rolls for materials such as labels and printed paper

+ Complete detailed month-end account reconciliations

+ Support weekly reporting and month-end close processes

+ Work closely with the plant accountant to ensure accurate financial operations

+ 47 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or plant environment

+ Proficiency in Oracle ERP and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, data manipulation)

+ Familiarity with Oracle Discoverer or similar reporting tools

+ Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable processes

+ Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines

+ Self-starter who thrives in a remote environment

+ Must be willing to work standard business hours aligned to the Eastern Time Zone

+ Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.

+ Pay Range: $35/hr (DOE)
