**Responsibilities**
**Overall Objective and Purpose:**
Provides service support to accounting department and customer base.
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Provides customer service and phone support (inbound and outbound)
+ Interact closely with customer and fulfill needs (provide weekly EFT balance, reports as requested, etc)
+ Post cash receipts and other accounts receivable related transactions
+ Backup for collection calls and collection letters for delinquent accounts
+ Prepare Demand Letters and PAP Packages (Bad Debt Packages) for delinquent accounts
+ Prepare weekly invoicing to verify with NY Lottery customer
+ Prepare and enter transactions in banking software system
+ Collect and prepare weekly reports for review and audit
+ Strict adherence to department and client deadlines
+ All other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
**Requirements:**
+ 2-4 year Accounting Degree
+ 1-2 years experience
+ Must be extremely proficient in P.C. based applications, particularly in Microsoft excel, word, outlook and power point.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $37,440 - $67,496. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
