Acquisitions Financial Analyst (M&A)

This newly created position sits at a mid-market Private Equity backed healthcare organization, growing rapidly via acquisitions.

This role supports the execution of the company's acquisition growth strategy by identifying, analyzing, and supporting acquisition targets in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, an interest in healthcare M&A, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with the Chief Development Officer to help achieve or exceed corporate acquisition growth targets

Identify and develop acquisition leads within priority geographies

Analyze financial performance of target businesses and create standardized financial models, metric reports, synergy assessments, and market demographic studies

Support the due diligence process by coordinating information flow between the target organization, advisors, Board members, and internal functional teams

Collaborate with operations and integration teams to support the planning and execution of post-close integration initiatives

Participate in special finance-related projects aligned with broader strategic growth initiatives

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree required; preference for candidates with a concentration in Finance or Business Administration

Experience:

1-2 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas:

Investment Banking: Financial modeling, pro forma preparation, and financial statement analysis

Private Equity (Pre-MBA Analyst or Associate): Exposure to deal execution and financial modeling

Healthcare Finance (Outpatient services preferred): Pro forma development and financial analysis

Technical Knowledge:

Foundational knowledge or exposure to the following areas:

Finance and accounting principles

Financial modeling and valuation techniques

Due diligence and mergers & acquisitions processes

Healthcare industry preferred, but not required
