Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the daily operations of our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate execution of accounting functions.
- Lead and coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Manage treasury functions, including budgeting and cash flow monitoring.
- Conduct various analyses of revenues and expenditures to support decision-making.
- Track and manage fixed asset activity, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial statements and reports.
- Develop, implement, and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures in accordance with company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits, compliance requirements, and strategic initiatives.
- Perform any other tasks or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
