ONSITE Accounting Assistant

Location: Delaware, OH (On-site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Job Description:

Nesco Resource is seeking an Accounting Assistant for a manufacturing company in Delaware, OH. This role supports daily financial operations in a fast-paced production environment, offering hands-on experience with accounts payable/receivable, inventory costing, and general ledger tasks.

• Process vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports for manufacturing operations.

• Assist with month-end close , account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Track and reconcile inventory/cost accounting transactions (experience a plus).

• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks or similar ERP/accounting software.

• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to resolve billing discrepancies.

• Support payroll processing and other administrative tasks as needed.

• 1 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or manufacturing finance experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs); QuickBooks/ERP systems preferred.

• Familiarity with cost accounting or inventory reporting (helpful but not required).

• Strong attention to detail—able to spot errors in invoices or part numbers.

• High school diploma required; Accounting/Finance degree or coursework preferred .
