Job Description
Our client, a mission-driven organization with a portfolio of residential communities, is seeking a Property Accountant to join their dedicated finance team. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation across multiple properties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about improving financial operations in a purpose-driven environment.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in property accounting; exposure to multi-entity or nonprofit/housing environments is a plus
- Proficiency with accounting systems, with Yardi Voyager experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of US GAAP, general ledger processes, and financial reporting
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with property managers and leadership to resolve accounting discrepancies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent hands-on experience
Hybrid Role | Location: Denver Metro Area
Up to 80k base - plus Full Benefits
