Job Description

As a corporate accountant, you will be responsible for auditing accounts and recording the business transactions of our company. You will prepare annual reports, present monthly financial statements, and provide financial advice based on data analysis to upper management. Ultimately, a top-notch corporate accountant should display exceptional knowledge of best financial practices and business acumen. As our corporate accounting professional, you will maintain the financial records of our organization with the utmost accuracy. You will work with accounting software to keep track of all income and expenses, and you will reconcile our accounts on a monthly basis. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing our annual report and presenting monthly financial statements to upper management.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and managing annual audits and following financial regulations, laws and policies
  • Preparing financial accounts for monthly review. Month-end close
  • Ensure all company accounts are accurately reconciled
  • Financial reporting for owners and stakeholders
  • Account payable and receivable

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, financial management or similar
  • Excellent understanding of best financial practices and accounting process.
  • Ownership attitude - you are willing to see something from beginning to end and be responsible for the outcome
  • Desire to learn, grow, and show initiative
  • Solid knowledge of Yardi is preferred, but not required.
  • Love to have fun and work as part of a team
