Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Payable Specialist, where you will be instrumental in processing invoices efficiently and maintaining smooth vendor relationships. Collaborate closely with our sales department to address discrepancies and contribute to monthly team reports. Responsibilities Process 100 invoices daily, including posting invoices, confirming drop ship invoices, and sending service invoices to branch managers. Resolve discrepancies by reaching out and coordinating with relevant parties. Utilize the AP Automation system for all invoice processing tasks. Collaborate on monthly reports with the team. Handle vendor correspondence and maintain strong vendor relationships. Communicate effectively with the sales department to rectify discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices. Manage statements and reports accurately. Essential Skills Experience in accounts payable and accounting. Proficiency in SAP is advantageous. Strong invoicing skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Work Environment The role operates within a collaborative team environment, utilizing advanced AP Automation systems. The position requires effective communication and coordination with various departments, ensuring timely processing of tasks and reports.
