Our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC

What's the Job?

  • Build the forecast and review, analyze, and assess expense position versus funding, three times per year for the corporate forecast processes.
  • Prepare variance analysis, commentary, and present results to stakeholders.
  • Manage, analyze, and support month-end variance commentary versus corporate forecast.
  • Process journal entries and provide accrual support for technology partners.
  • Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.

What's Needed?

  • BS/BA in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • Experience in Accounting, Audit, or GAAP compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency with reporting packages (eg, Tableau), databases (eg, Access, SQL), and tools like Power Query and Alteryx is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-Finance partners and drive strategic thinking.
