Senior Accountant - Fixed Assets & Leases

Our client, a dynamic and growing organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant - Fixed Assets & Leases to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of the Accounting function supporting the financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Accountant - Fixed Assets & Leases

Location: Oak Brook, IL 60523

Pay Range: $120,000 - $125,000 (direct hire)

What's the Job?

• Manage the fixed asset ledger and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Add capital projects to the system and oversee facilities depreciation.
• Collaborate with operations on lease agreements and amortization processes.
• Ensure compliance with ASC 842 standards in financial reporting.
• Provide insights and support for financial decision-making within the organization.

What's Needed?

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting from any industry except real estate.
• Proficiency in managing fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules.
• Familiarity with lease management and amortization practices.
• Experience with Lucernix or Costar is a plus, but not mandatory.
