Staff Inventory Accountant

Our client, a leading organization in the distribution and manufacturing sector , is seeking a Staff Inventory Accountant to join their team, 100% Onsite, in Oak Brook, IL . As a Staff Inventory Accountant, you will be part of the internal accounting function supporting the Internal Accounting Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Staff Inventory Accountant

Location: Oak Brook, IL 60523

Base Salary: $70,000 $80,000 base + benefits

Job Function:

• Manage inventory accounting for over 110,000 SKUs
• Perform reconciliations and generate inventory reports
• Track inventory movements and coordinate cycle counts
• Calculate Excess & Obsolete (E&O) reserves
• Support internal and external audits

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting (required)
• 14 years of accounting experience in a high SKU distribution or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of inventory processes and reconciliations
• Experience with Oracle Fusion or AS400/IBS
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
