Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are currently looking for an AR/Billing Associate to join our team!

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Weekly integration of billing transactions from Labvantage lab system into ERP system (Great Plains Dynamics)
• Reviews integrated batches for accuracy, checking for apparent errors, making updates as needed.
• Runs exception reporting to ensure all data is pulled for the current week’s billing.
• Handles all transactions marked as “manual bill”, reaching out to the lab to obtain pricing and approval for posting.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolving billing discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from various systems and customers.
• Communicate with labs to ensure all billings are completed each week.
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles
• Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associates degree with accounting courses preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access
• Two to three+ years of corporate accounts receivable and collections experience required
• Microsoft Great Plains experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to execute manual detailed tasks
• Flexible schedule
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
• Prolonged sitting, viewing of computer screens
• Work under stress with interruptions and deadlines
• Ability to think logically
