Position: Accounting Manager
Reports to: Director of Accounting
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000

Superior is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead and manage our Accounting function. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing a team of direct reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and supporting the month-end close process. In addition, the role includes cash forecasting and select treasury functions. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals and collaborate with broader Finance team
- Manage working capital including cash flow forecasting and daily cash management
- Oversee the completion of monthly account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and assist with regulatory reporting
- Support quarterly and annual financial audit and tax activities
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Promote strong GAAP compliance and internal controls

Your Expertise
- Required: You have at least 8 years of experience in Corporate Accounting, Treasury, or a related field
- Required: You earned your bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Bonus Points: You have your CPA
- Bonus Points: You’re familiar with Accounting in the construction industry
