Description
This position assists with the effective operation of the treasurer's office. School payroll background is strongly preferred. Individual must possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as both oral and written communication skills. The individual must be able to work independently and prioritize duties. Customer service is a priority with both internal and external customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree in accounting preferred
- Documentation of a clear criminal record
- Compliance with drug-free workplace rules and board policies
- Knowledge of payroll and payroll processing
- Accounting skills and ability to compute mathematical data accurately
- Experience with governmental fiscal operation procedures is desired
- Proficiency in use of automated data processing systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Compensation (Salary Range):
$53,312 to $62,105 - Commensurate with experience and in accordance with specified salary schedule
