Join the YMCA of Central Ohio as an Accounts Receivable Analyst and play a key role in ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations for a mission-driven organization. In this role, you'll manage invoicing, collections, and reporting for third-party payors, contracts, and internal departments while supporting continuous improvements in accuracy and efficiency. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  1. Thinks, communicates, and behaves as a cause-driven leader and role model for other staff and members when it comes to desired staff behaviors; promotes youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in all job-related functions.

  2. Serve as association support lead for third party payor requests, quotes, web portal & JotForm account management, reimbursements, invoicing, and reporting to include: Insurance based vendors, commercial vendors, YUSA Online portal customer services, Third-Party payments vendors and social service agencies.

  3. Oversee invoicing for Association contracts. Ensure invoices are sent timely, review outstanding invoices for collectability, ensure payments are applied and leads collection efforts.

  4. Conduct & communicate regular error reporting & efficiency audits as related to Membership Software Finance. (i.e., Facility Usage w/Balance Due, Daily Deposits, Refund approvals, No Billing Method, Outstanding TPP invoices, NSF collections)

  5. Provides troubleshooting for DAXKO system refunds, deposits, payments, invoicing, and reporting within an accepted time frame.

  6. Assist in cross- departmental training for third party payor processes.

  7. Monitors the ticketing system and responds within SLAs set.

  8. Assists in annual audit and internal year-end reconciliation process and various report filings as well as 0ther duties, as assigned.

  9. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and viewpoints from all social and economic segments of the organization and community. A commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism is expected from our staff.

  10. Adheres to all policies and procedures related to abuse risk management, while reporting suspicious or inappropriate behaviors. Complies with all procedures related to supervision of you and follows the YMCAs training and reporting requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or Bachelors degree in accounting or related field and at least two years related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the above duties.

  • Experience in Customer Service

  • Proficiency with MS Office programs (Word & Excel); database/information systems (Kronos preferred), and ability to utilize web-based systems required.

  • YMCA

    • Team Leader Certification: if not certified, you must obtain certification within 1 year.

      • Team leader certification requires: Principles and Practices; Introduction to Volunteerism; Introduction to Leading Others; Introduction to Fiscal Management; Leadership competency assessment; Team Leader

      • Certification Test.
