Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Supervisor to oversee our standard and certified payroll operations. This role ensures accurate and compliant payroll processing while managing reporting requirements, audits, and payroll system optimizations.
Essential Duties:
Payroll Processing and Compliance:
- Supervise and manage end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. employees; process and audit multi-state payroll and ensure all accompanying tasks are accurately completed in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry-specific payroll regulations, including certified payroll requirements for government contracts.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and report in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and prevailing wage laws where applicable.
- Monitor and continuously improve payroll processes, simplifying where possible.
Certified Payroll Management
- Ensure payroll data integrity for government contracts and special projects.
- Conduct audits to verify prevailing wage compliance and work classifications.
System Management and Optimization
- Manage payroll systems, ensuring efficient data entry, processing, automation, and accuracy.
- Work with HR, finance, and IT teams to optimize payroll workflows.
- Stay updated on payroll software enhancements and industry best practices.
Leadership and Employee Support
- Supervise and coach payroll staff, ensuring ongoing training and development.
- Act as a point of contact for payroll inquiries, discrepancies, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate across HR, Finance, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure optimization of payroll processes.
Other Duties
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Work Experience
- 5 years payroll experience required
- Experience with payroll integrations, transformation, and ADP software preferred

- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems
- LCP Tracker Knowledge
- Prevailing Wage/Certified Payroll Knowledge
