Brown & Brown is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our growing te am in Minneapolis, MN!

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will lead a te am of Premium Payable Accountants to ensure a high quality of premium payable services for multiple Brown & Brown offices. The leader oversees and coaches the te am in the performance of the individual and department responsibilities and ensure that the processing of all phases of the premium payable processes and procedures for the offices within the Te am is done in accordance with established company practices and timelines.

How You Will Contribu te :

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations and workflow of the Premium Payable te am within the Retail Division.

  • Review, approve, and enforce controls over company disbursements and in te rcompany journal entries.

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of transaction support and documentation in sys te ms like ImageRight .

  • Provide coaching, training, and onboarding support for new and existing te am members.

  • Monitor te am and individual performance , setting goals and ensuring departmental progress.

  • Analyze trends and resolve issues rela te d to premium payables, acting as a subject mat te r expert.

  • Utilize software automation to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Collabora te across departments and with ex te rnal partners to address billing, deposits, and payment concerns.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, wholesalers, and in te rnal stakeholders.

  • Promo te a positive work culture , encouraging te am work, support, and continuous learning.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a finance or accounting rela te d field

  • 4+ years office experience

  • 3-5 years full cycle accounting experience

  • 1-year previous supervisory experience (preferred)

  • 3+ years insurance premium payable experience (preferred)

  • Profi cient knowledge in Microsoft Office environment, including but not limi te d to Te am s, Word, Excel, and PPT.

  • Working knowledge of AMS360 (preferred)

  • Ability to travel periodically as needed

Pay Range

$95,000 - $105,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
