Treasury Accountant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Representative to join our team. This role is pivotal in promoting our organizations mission and ensuring the effective management of financial resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and be adept at using various accounting software to support our non-profit initiatives.

Duties

• Responsible for preparing reconciliations and roll forwards for all balance sheet accounts, including cash, investments, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, intercompany balances, liabilities, and equity.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations in QuickBooks, with supporting schedules and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of final FY25 trial balances and tie-outs, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all supporting schedules and GL tie-outs

SKILLS:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, with a focus on full-cycle close and advanced reconciliations across multiple entities and asset classes.
• Must have QuickBooks Online experience
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build and manage complex audit-compliant reconciliation schedules
• Experience reconciling multi-entity balance sheet accounts, including investment accounts with capital calls, distributions, and unrealized gains/losses.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, nonprofit accounting principles, and general ledger tie-outs.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
• Prior experience supporting audit preparation and coordinating deliverables internally/externally
