Tax Preparer

This temporary role is set to commence in June 2025 and will conclude in September 2025, presenting an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to expand their experience in tax preparation. Candidates who successfully complete this contract may also be considered for part-time or full-time positions during the next tax season.

We are currently looking for a temporary Tax Preparer to assist with completing 2024 extensions ranging from individual tax returns to partnerships, trusts, small businesses, estates, and corporations. The ideal candidate must be committed to accurate and timely tax preparation and have the ability to communicate effectively to a range of tax payers. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial concepts, and the ability to provide exceptional service in a busy environment. Responsibilities include collecting information and preparing Federal, State, and Local Tax Returns, answering phones and being able to provide tax information to customers in person and over the phone as well as meeting with customers in order to complete their tax returns in person.

Qualifications include: 2-3 years preparing tax returns, excellent interpersonal skills, must be able to work independently within a teamlike environment, must have Excel and Quick Books experience as well as tax package knowledge, Intuit preferred.

Position is located in Delmont, PA and is a onsite position and not virtual!

Salary/Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
