Accounting Manager

We are a boutique commercial real estate investment firm overseeing multiple entities, properties, and joint ventures. We’re seeking a full-time Accounting Manager with 20+ years of hands-on accounting experience, who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

You will work directly with leadership to manage the financials for a portfolio of companies, tenants, and partners. This role offers high-level responsibility and requires sharp technical skills, attention to detail, and confident communication.

This is an in-office position located in Orlando, Fl. This is not a remote position. Please do not apply if you do not live within the Orlando area.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities and bank accounts.
• Lead preparation of monthly and quarterly financials (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Oversee AP/AR and collaborate with internal bookkeepers.
• Handle intercompany reconciliations, transfers, and funding across businesses.
• Support tenant billing, CAM reconciliations, and condo association accounting.
• Communicate with vendors, tenants, banks, and partners.
• Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and year-end tax prep.
• Coordinate accounting for new acquisitions and asset disposals.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred
• Expertise in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is required.
• Strong understanding of intercompany accounting and multi-entity operations.
• Experience with 1065 tax returns and property-level reconciliations.
• Comfortable speaking with tenants, when necessary.
• Experience with Property Management or similar software is a plus.
• Organized and self-driven.
