We are seeking a Senior Accountant who brings not only technical accounting expertise but also critical thinking, sound judgment, and a desire for continuous growth. This role is integral to the financial operations of our organization and offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with various departments.

What Youll Be Doing:

Youll play a key role in our accounting operations, including:

  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual financial reports

  • Creating and supporting journal entries, month-end accruals, and period-close procedures

  • Preparing general ledger account reconciliations and monthly accounting schedules

  • Monitoring A/P and A/R aging schedules and collaborating with the Controller and other accounting staff

  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset ledger and recording asset purchases and disposals

  • Assisting with billing oversight and understanding billing metrics that support organizational financial health

  • Supporting the development and documentation of standard operating procedures across accounting, A/R, A/P, and payroll

  • Assisting in the enhancement of internal controls to ensure audit readiness and financial accuracy

  • Ensuring all journal entries are audit-compliant with appropriate documentation

  • Contributing to special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

What Were Looking For:
  • Strong understanding of operational finance and U.S. GAAP

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to also work independently

  • High integrity and self-motivation

  • Interest in healthcare or healthcare technology industry (a plus)

  • Experience with Great Plains accounting software (a plus)

  • Ability to contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics

  • 3+ years of accounting experience (private organizations or public accounting; Big 4 or national firm preferred)

  • CPA certification preferred, but not required

  • Experience in high-growth or private equity-backed companies is a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to be hands-on and collaborative across teams
