Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper ( Hybrid )

We’re Hiring: Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper (Part-time)
Location: Manhattan, New York
(Full - time) Annual Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 + benefits

Now, we're looking for an Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper to support our growing New York City team.

What You'll Do:
Take full charge of daily bookkeeping and financial operations in QuickBooks Online
Support management with tax compliant reporting, invoicing, payroll tracking, and financial planning
Collaborate with our external accountants and ensure timely delivery of data for filings
Support external audits with documentation and responses
Coordinate with our headquarters in Germany on shared accounting tasks and financial reporting
Interface with tools like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and be open to learning new platforms
Help maintain our organized, agile, and supportive work culture

What We're Looking For:
5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a small business or professional services environment
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential
Solid knowledge of general accounting principles, expense tracking, and payroll support
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication skills for working with external and international partners
Experience with multi-currency or international coordination is a plus
