Job Summary
Job Description
General Function
Responsible for all of the bookkeeping functions associated with accounts receivable, deposits, cash, accounts payable, disbursements, and reconciliations for the property fiduciary accounts held by STC Management.
Qualifications
A. High school diploma or an associate degree in a related field or 5 years of accounting experience.
B. Experience in any accounting software is a plus.
C. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
D. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and outside resources.
E. Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision.
F. Good organizational skills.
G. Attention to detail.
Essential Functions
General
A. Help prepare financial reports and spreadsheets as requested.
B Maintain an organized filing system for all accounting documents.
C. Maintain a list of all fiduciary bank and investment accounts.
D. Reconcile property fiduciary bank accounts.
E. All other duties assigned.
Accounts Receivable
A. Enter and verify all checks into the computer and deposit/check scan to the bank.
B. Review accounts receivable.
C. Prepared aged receivable reports, late fee or other fee charges.
D. Update CPI Index & rent increase.
E. Prepare rent statements.
F. Make bank runs.
G. Handle tenant questions and communicate with teams.
Accounts Payable
A. Review invoices for accuracy and approval stamps from management.
B. Prepare and input invoices in approved batches daily.
C. Scan checks & invoices then filing
D. Maintain current vendor information.
E. Process accounts payable checks and related reports.
F. Process month end reports and check for accuracy.
G. Handle vendor questions and communicate with teams.
