Our client is a dynamic and growing CPA firm serving a diverse clientele across the United States and internationally. They provide comprehensive tax, audit, and advisory services to individuals and businesses of all sizes and industries. With 21% growth over the last year, the firm is expanding and looking to add a Tax Manager to their collaborative team.
The Firm:
Team of 5 Partners, 4 Managers/Supervisors, and 10–15 Associates (and hiring for more across the board!)
Family-oriented, collaborative environment that values work-life balance
Mentorship-focused, with clear paths to promotion and leadership
Minimal travel (5–10%) — all within New England/Rhode Island
What You'll Do:
Act as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for client portfolio
Proactively identify issues and deliver clear, actionable solutions
Lead and mentor staff to ensure accurate, timely results
Stay ahead of evolving tax codes and accounting standards
Collaborate with leadership on tax planning and strategy
Guide team development through training, coaching, and performance feedback
Participate in firm development and business growth initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Accounting (Master’s in Tax a plus)
CPA, EA, or equivalent credential (required)
5+ years of tax experience in public accounting
Strong leadership and project management skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks; UltraTax CS and AdvanceFlow experience a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
