What You'll Get to Do:

As a Certified Public Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, tax preparation, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations to support the business's financial success.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, in compliance with GAAP.

• Oversee tax filings (sales tax, income tax, payroll taxes), ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

• Develop and manage financial budgets, analyze expenses, and provide recommendations for improving cost efficiency.

• Work with the operations team to track inventory, ensure accurate cost of goods sold (COGS) reporting, and help optimize inventory levels.

• Conduct internal audits, ensure proper documentation of financial transactions, and maintain accurate records. Identify and mitigate financial risks.

• Provide insights into business performance, recommend improvements, and monitor key financial metrics to support decision-making.

• Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, including local tax codes and industry-specific standards.

We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• CPA license preferred.

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferable in the retail or consumer goods industry.

• Proficient in accounting software

• Strong understanding of the financial aspects of the retail business.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail.

• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
