We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Temporary Payroll Administrator in our Finance Department to join the team in one of our New Jersey offices.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within amutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Ensure timely processing of multi-state bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principles
Administer, calculate, and record payroll deductions
Process wage garnishments, pay levies and other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner
Perform tasks to establish and maintain payroll records
Review payroll reports for accuracy and process adjustments if needed
Prepare special reports for management as needed
Assist Payroll Manager in proactively identifying gaps within the payroll process and escalate as necessary
Respond to departmental inquiries and issues related to payroll information. Works to resolve issues and problems in an expeditious and satisfactory manner
Work closely with People & Culture department
YOUR EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a mid-size (approximately 3-4k employees), multi-statepany
Understanding of multi-location payroll and local, state and federal rules and laws on payroll taxes
Proficient knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
Experience with Ultimate Kronos Group Software
Able to work overtime when necessary
Ability to problem solve, analyze, good mathematical skills and be able to multitask in a fast pace environment
Outstandingmunication skills (written and verbal)
Experience in a Professional Service Industry a plus
