Accounting Manager Location: Scottsdale, AZ (in-office) Position Overview Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their expanding team in Scottsdale, Arizona. The company is flourishing in the construction industry. This role is integral to the company's continued growth and success, focusing on financial operations and strategic financial planning. Responsibilities Responsible for financial reporting and analysis to provide insights into the company's financial health. Managing accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes. Ensuring compliance with audit standards and regulatory requirements. Developing and managing budgeting and forecasting processes to align with company goals. Handling billing collections and preparing financial statements. Managing the entire general ledger accounting function to ensure accurate financial reporting. Overseeing job costing and percentage of completion billing prior to each phase of construction projects. Managing deposits and phased payments/invoicing throughout project completion. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or MBA preferred. 5+ years of management experience, preferably in the construction industry. Proficiency in Sage software is highly desirable. Required Work Hours The position requires availability from Monday to Friday, during regular business hours.
