By conducting objective diagnostic tests and analytical reviews, the auditor is responsible for the verification of a company's financial records by following Generally Accepted Auditing Principles.Developing relationships with clients and staff, including involvement in networking and business development activities.Assisting managers in developing ideas to help clients with operational and control opportunities or tax liabilities/exposures, client presentations and selling opportunities.Managing actual time in relation to the engagement budget.The qualifications.2-5 years of recent public accounting experience1+ years working with Japanese businesses (client, employer, or vendor relationships)Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferredCPA preferred. Required:Completed the required 150 credit hours for CPA certification; andBe willing to obtain the CPA within a defined period of timeJapanese language skills required - verbal and writtenPosition may be filled as a staff or senior based on transferable experienceQualified individuals must either reside in or near the Illinois, Michigan, or Ohio areas or be willing to relocate to one of these areas for this opportunity.
