We are seeking an experienced business incentive professional to join our fast paced, collaborative
tax department. The Credits and Incentives group will manage the lifecycle of our economic
development incentive opportunities and portfolio. You will leverage your knowledge and experience
to evaluate complex scenarios and optimize our business incentive results. Our tax function is
constantly evolving so it's fair to say there's no average day for our Credits and Incentives team;
you're likely to spend your time on a diverse array of exciting projects. The ideal candidate is a
detail oriented, self-starter with a willingness to learn. You will be working in a highly collaborative
culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is an essential part of the role.
We use proactive approaches and innovative technologies, so an appetite for change and
technology is a must!

RESPONSIBILITES:

Manage database for Company's incentive portfolio Manage the compliance function for all contract performance requirements, including preparation of required quarterly and annual filings, review of outside-provider filings, preparation of data for filings
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all contract performance requirements
Develop clear, thoughtful plans and approaches to improve our portfolio compliance
Prepare monthly reporting for executive leadership
Understand and align our portfolio and practices with our corporate ESG strategy
Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to build relationships, gather
information and perform benefit calculations to optimize outcomes.
Prepare summaries of incentives and work in partnership with internal teams to ensure
benefits are being realized
Understand current market trends and business operations to maximize business
opportunities
Manage compliance audits
Support other ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned
Hybrid schedule: 2 days in office, 3 remote
Travel up to 10%
Will consider remote, out of state candidates

Qualification:

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law or a related discipline
3 plus year's direct experience with state and local business incentives
Professional knowledge in a broad range of federal, state and local credits and incentives
Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
Technical writing and research experience in a tax context
Experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
Strong influencing skills and the confidence to question existing processes
Strong project management and organization skills
Power Point presentation expertise a must
Alteryx experience a plus
CPA or CMI designation a plus
