Senior Accountant (Hybrid)

A growing company in the renewable energy space is looking add a Senior Accountant to their team. You'll be a key contributor in managing financial reporting, general ledger oversight, and supporting tax-related accounting tied to their ITCs and renewable energy transactions. You'll work within a fast-paced environment that processes a high volume of complex transactions — especially around tax equity partnerships and credit transfers — and play an essential part in keeping their operations sharp.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger accounting and monthly close processes
• Handle complex accounting around investment tax credits and tax equity partnerships
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Finance and FP&A
• Assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Contribute to process improvements as the company scales

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of corporate accounting experience or 2 years of public accounting experience
• Strong foundation in GAAP
• Audit experience highly preferred
• CPA certification highly preferred (or currently pursuing)
• Experience in the renewable or broader energy sector is a plus, but not required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
