Senior Financial Analyst, Operational Finance

EyeCare Partners LLC, a fast-growing St. Louis based healthcare company with operations spread across 18 states, is seeking a senior financial analyst to support our executive leadership in driving organic growth. The individual will work alongside an optometry-focused team to create financial projections and models based to enable and support business decisions. The role will utilize your financial acumen to identify and describe the opportunities and risks in the business unit. The role will interact with key executives and support services leaders on a monthly basis and requires strong communication and presentation skills.

Position Summary: Lead financial analysis, ROI modeling, and budgeting for the optometry business unit and present results to leadership

Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve annual budget and long range plan as the business unit changes

Meet with key leaders to understand inputs, opportunities, and assumptions in actuals and plan

Review monthly KPIs and actual results to forecast in detail

Discuss and present any significant or unusual variances with operational leaders

Review accounting results and correlate them with the underlying performance of the business

Support monthly business unit review presentation, for our Board of Managers

Work alongside our operational leadership to identify and model drivers for organic growth, as well as track implementation of actioned initiatives

Support requests for ad-hoc financial analysis within optometry segment

Collaborate with Business Intelligence Analysts in developing dashboard visualization of KPIs

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

MBA or CPA preferred

3-5+ years experience in a financial analyst role, management experience a plus

Highly skilled in use of Excel

Moderate to highly skilled in SQL, Microsoft Power BI, SAP preferred

Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, customer service and organizational skills

Professional communication skills with C-suite level leadership

Excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to complete a task or project, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Must be able to sit for an extended period of time.

Work Environment:

The job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday Friday. Must work 40 hours each week to maintain full time status.
