Daily Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records
• Assist with journal entries and balance sheets
• Support with month-end close processes
• Assist with financial statement preparation
• Expense report and receipt processing, posting and reconciliation in a timely manner
• AR/AP data entry and posting

Required Skills:

• Experience with journal entries and balance sheets
• General understanding of GAAP
• Familiarity with financial statements and tax research
• Ability to perform reconciliations and assist with tax compliance
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven enviornment.
• Be detailed oriented and organized
• Good communication

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with international tax and sales & use tax
• Knowledge of depreciation and property tax
• Enrolled Agent certification
• Proficiency in accounting software and account reconciliation
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation skills
